Do I need to be funded to engage Care Federation?

Funding needs to be in place prior to employing carers. You can register with us so you are ready once your funding has been established.

However if you are funding yourself we would be happy to talk to you about your needs and potential payment options.

Does Care Federation organise funding for individuals and their families?

No. Care Federation doesn't negotiate funding.

Who can utilise our service?

Individuals requiring care for any disability or medical condition who need carers can use Care Federation. We are also happy to talk with Case Managers, Allied Health professionals including Social Workers, Facilitators, and Parents/family members or anyone interested in assisting individuals and their families streamline the process of sourcing suitable carers.

Are there forms I need to complete?

We need to find out about your funding arrangements and do this by asking you to complete several forms. After this all that is required is letting us know who your carers are, determine what you would like to pay them, approving timesheets at the end of each pay period and sending them to us.

Does Care Federation provide assistance with finding carers?

We are not a traditional care agency, however feel free to talk to us about your needs.

What award will you pay my carers under?

Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010

How soon can I start?

Once you are registered with Care Federation you can start immediately using your chosen carers. Carers will also need to complete some forms and ensure they have the required checks in place e.g. police check and working with children check, if required.

How do I lodge timesheets?

Timesheets can be scanned and emailed. We hope to introduce an online timesheet facility sometime in the not too distant future to provide you with more choice and will keep you updated.
